What People Are Saying

See some of our testimonials below.

"Labyrinth Gap Year was an eye-opening experience for me. It gave me a crystal clear picture of what I actually want to become. When I was at school and when I came to join the programme, I thought I had my life figured out, but the programme showed me much much more and I realized with a WOW, I needed this so much.

They gave us a 3-D pic of careers, hands-on experience in fields I never dreamed of becoming involved in. The life challenges at Rock Lodge made me stronger (I often thought of quitting, I am so proud I did not!!)... hard work, endurance, good leadership, good relationships.

I thank my parents for allowing me this opportunity....and hats off to the Gap Year Management Team. THANK YOU!! (THIS YEAR HE IS STUDYING AT NIMPT, SWAKOPMUND)"

"I had only two options in life after school, UNAM or playing soccer. Then my marks were not good enough to study at Unam, and I had a knee injury that put soccer forever out of my options. I just existed for two years, actually on my bed and on my phone. Then the opportunity to join the Labyrinth Gap Year Programme.

A whole new world opened for me. I visited places I did not know of, I made awesome friends, I learned lessons I will keep for my whole life. My life took a hand-break turn. I thank my dear mom and the Gap Year staff for this life changing experience. I am now studying at Triumphant College to become an electrician. "

"I'd much rather take a gap year than a 5 years study course and come out feeling that I have wasted my time and money.

I looked into a couple of gap year programs, but the one of Flexona has so many exciting things included: job shadowing, general experiences and exposure to skills I know for sure I will need in future.... which is what I want. Highlights for me are Health Month in June (Medical experience). Driving Skills. Community service at SPCA."
